Upcoming Event Schedule

Snow hole hike - Sunday April 20th

This is 5 mile total hike and goes easy to moderate level (Mr. Cubit did the "hole" thing with a sprained ankle).  The area is the Petersburg Pass near Williamstown Ma.  The hike actually takes us through NY and MA.  The weather may be cold or warm but be sure to dress appropriately.  We will be working on the Bird Identification merit badge and the Beaver patrol will use compasses for the monthly theme of orienteering.  Bring a lunch and plenty of water in a day pack.  First aid kits are mandatory.

Bird Study Merit Badge - get your workbook here

www.meritbadge.com is currently down and the Merit Badge book is unavailable but you can still get your workbooks above.

Read the workbook online.  At the end there are links to bird calls, videos and photos for your to look at and study before we go out to the woods to try and identify the required birds.
